Funeral services for Kenneth Smith, age 78, of Frankston, are scheduled for 10:00 am Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Autry Funeral Home chapel, Frankston with Rev. J. A. Griffin and Rev. Doug Howell officiating.
Burial will be held at Liberty Hill Cemetery, Frankston.
Mr. Smith passed away Monday, July 19, 2010 in Frankston.
He was born May 16, 1932 in Scurry, TX.
Mr. Smith was a Methodist and was a contractor and hay farmer.
He is preceded in death by his parents William Marcus Smith and Beulah Hill Smith, brothers Marcus, Jack, Bobbie Joe and Hildred and sister Josephine Adams.
Survivors include wife Margaret Smith of Frankston; sons Dusty Smith, Nathan Marcus Smith and Mark Burris of Temecula, CA.; daughters Vickie Loraine, Shanna Dalene Street of Larue and Sonya Gaye Strache of California; sisters Bonnie Risley and Geraline Adams, both of Garland; and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jim Smith, Gerald Smith, Glenn Adams, Darel Wayne Risley, Jerry Beard and Wayne Socia.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Autry Funeral Home, Frankston.
