Funeral services for Homer Harris, age 95, of Bullard, are scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at the Church of Christ in Bullard with Bro. Mike Baker officiating.
Burial will follow at Bullard Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Mr. Harris passed away Monday, July 26, 2010 in Bullard.
He was born November 25, 1914 in Bullard.
Mr. Harris served in the U. S. Navy during World War II, was a member of the Church of Christ in Bullard and retired as a minister after 72 years in the ministry.
He is preceded in death by his brothers M. H. Harris and Elmer Harris, sisters Leila Richardson and Ella Keele and parents W. R. and Ella Harris.
Survivors include sons Aubrey Morman and wife Jean of Tyler and Jerry Morman and wife Phenney of Bullard; sister Lella Stripling of Bullard; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Randy Morman, Jay Morman, Ken Morman, Jerimiah Morman, Bill Dowdy and Connie Vaughn.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
