Funeral services for Ronnie Stringer, age 66, of Maydelle, are scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, July 30, 2010 at Autry Funeral Home chapel, Jacksonville with Rev. Joe Ballard officiating.
Burial will follow at Mt. Comfort Cemetery, Maydelle.
Mr. Stringer passed away Monday, July 26, 2010 in Tyler.
He was born January 18, 1944 in Cooper, TX.
Mr. Stringer was a Baptist and was a machinist.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents John and Goldie Stringer, father H. B. Stringer, sister Deborah James and step father Bob McGee.
Survivors include wife Karen Stringer of Maydelle; mother Laverne McGee of Rockwall; daughters Lynn Nesmith and husband Mark of Mangum, OK, Ronde Collis and husband Chris of Maydelle and Randy Stringer of McKinney; son Ronnie W. Stringer of Lufkin; brother Eddie Stringer of Joplin, MO; sister Micky McGee of Dallas; brother-in-law Jimmy James of Mesquite; six grandchildren David, Randy, Brandi, Kallie, Kellie and Austin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be David “Cowboy” Davenport, Chris Collis, Mark Nesmith, Jeff James, Jimmy James and Richard Davis.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
