A. M. Hearn, 73, of Reklaw, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2010.
He was born July 20, 1937 in Huntsville, TX.
A. M. graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown, TX.
Mr. Hearn was retired from Mobil Chemical in Pasadena, TX where he was an operations and shipping supervisor.
After retirement Mr. Hearn worked at the State Mental Hospital and also as a substitute teacher in both Rusk and Jacksonville.
A. M. played tennis in several leagues through the years until his health would not permit it.
Mr. Hearn was preceded in death by his parents Alton M. and Syble Hearn and his son Tobin Lynn Hearn.
He is survived by his wife Colleen, his sons James Victor Hearn and Robert Glenn Hearn, step daughter and son-in-law Kim and Shannon Killebrew, brother Norman Hearn and wife Peggy, sisters-in-law Sue Anderson, Janice Story and husband Skip, and brother-in-law Bob Cooke and wife Linda. Also numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be from 5 – 7 pm Monday, August 2, 2010 at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
