Barry Autry Funeral Director

Barry Autry, funeral home director, founder, and first-generation funeral service provider, has worked in every aspect of funeral services since 1981. Having started his career in Jacksonville after graduating from Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science, he has served families across the area for over 3 decades. He and his wife Jana established Autry Funeral Home in 2003 and carefully chose a staff of caring and christian individuals who have committed their lives to serving others as they would want to be served. Barry and wife Jana have two children, Whitney Best and Brady Autry and 2 grandchildren. Members of Central Baptist Church in Jacksonville for over 30 years, Barry serves as a Deacon. He is also a Rotarian, a Gateway Community Partners Human Rights Board Member, Lake Jacksonville Advisory Board Member, and has served many years with United Way.

Ralph Lindsey Funeral Director

Ralph Lindsey, a native of Alto, Texas has lived in Jacksonville for over 42 years. He graduated from Commonwealth College of Mortuary Sciences in Houston in 1973. As a Funeral Director, Ralph has served the families of our community for over 43 years. In his tenure he has been a two time past President of the East Texas Funeral Directors Group being named Funeral Director of the Year in 2000. He is a past board member of Texas Funeral Directors Assoc. in Austin. Heavily involved in his community, Ralph has served with various groups as well as being Chairman of the  Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce.  He is married to his wife and best friend, Jill Lindsey. They have six children and eleven grandchildren.

Brady Autry Funeral Director, Oaklawn Administrator

Brady Autry is a graduate of Texas A&M- Commerce School of Business and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He completed his College Education on a football scholarship. After completing his undergraduate degree he attended the Dallas institute of Funeral Service. While attending mortuary school Brady completed his apprenticeship with Laurel Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park where he later became General Manager of the Funeral Home and Cemetery serving the Mesquite/ Dallas community for close to 5 years.

Brady is currently the General Manager and a licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer with Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home and Oaklawn Memorial Park in Athens, TX. He is responsible for the day to day operations, administrative duties, and compliance with the TFSC, DOB, and other agencies.

Brady resides in Athens with his wife Melanie and thier two children, Bennett and Janie Claire. They are members of the First Baptist Church of Athens.

Kelly Fowler Funeral Director

Kelly moved to the Jacksonville area with her family in 1984.  She attended Jacksonville High School and graduated from Tyler Junior College.  While raising her sons she worked locally in manufacturing focusing on customer service and quality control. Kelly is a Member of Afton Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was an active member of the Jacksonville Jaycees for over 10 years, serving as president for two of those years. In May of 2011 she enrolled in Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and graduated in 2012.  She served her apprenticeship here at Autry Funeral Home, becoming fully licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in May of 2013.

Monica Reyes Office Manager

Monica was raised in Angleton. She moved to East Texas in 1996. She serves families at Autry Funeral Home as the Office Manager and a Funeral/Administrative Assistant. She is bilingual and helps assist families with obituaries, memorials as well as other pertinent tasks. She has 3 children and 4 grandchildren. She has been a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Jacksonville since 1997. She also serves with ACTS (Adoration, Community, Theology and Service) of St. Mary Magadalene in Flint. She graduated from Tyler Junior College, Magna Cum Laude in 2010 with a Associate of Applied Science, Paralegal degree.
